Writing a new CV is a two way street. You are the only person who knows exactly what you have done in the past. Therefore Clients are required to be actively involved in the development of their new CV by providing patience, honest information and timely feedback. Clients are required to provide written answers to questions from ITCV to complete the assignment.

ITCV Writers (ITCV) does not write CV’s from scratch and Clients need to supply all required content for their new CV in a PDF or MS Word document before the Assignment can begin. If Client’s don’t have an existing CV, ITCV will provide a template for Clients to complete which requires the Client to add personal details, qualifications and work history. ITCV will use this completed template to create a new CV that aims to present Clients in the best possible light for the types of jobs they told ITCV they want.

The timeline for an Assignment begins when ITCV receives payment confirmation and a complete response to the Order Confirmation email, up until Assignment Completion. Assignment Completion occurs when ITCV provides the Final version of the product (or last remaining product in a Package), and the Client acknowledges Assignment Completion by either giving written confirmation that they are happy/satisfied, or do not request any changes to that product within seven days.. The Client will know it’s the Final version because ITCV will use the word ‘Final’ or a similar term in the file name or accompanying email.

Timelines are calculated on the assumption that Clients will respond to requests for information within 48 hours. In the event that this does not happen, or an appointment is cancelled or changed, the timeline end date will be pushed back by the time difference between the original due date and the actual date the response/meeting occurs. Business days are days that are not weekends or Victorian public holidays.

Revisions can be made to any Final version of a CV or LinkedIn profile for 30 days after it is delivered, as per the terms set out in our Satisfaction Guarantee. In the event that ITCV does not make any timeline for whatever reason, Client’s acknowledge that ITCV has made all reasonable effort to make the timelines and deadlines and no liability is accepted for any consequences from not making those deadlines.

Sometimes Clients need their new CV quick smart. So ITCV offers Express CV Writing services where Clients will receive their CV in a maximum of two business days. However there may be circumstances (like work-loads and full calendars) which mean ITCV cannot commit to the two business day deadline. Once ITCV receives payment confirmation and the Client’s availability for consultations, ITCV will get in touch as soon as possible to confirm if the deadline is achievable. If it’s not, the Client will get a full refund.

We acknowledge that it’s the real world and sometimes external factors or circumstances mean Client’s no longer require ITCV’s services or ITCV cannot meet a Client needs. As such, both Clients and ITCV have the right to cancel any assignment, at any stage prior to Assignment Completion, for any reason, effective immediately. Notwithstanding any legal obligations and consumer rights under the laws of Australia and the jurisdiction of the State of Victoria, ITCV will provide a pro-rata refund that takes into account the time ITCV has invested writing your CV up to the point of cancellation. Refunds for writing services are calculated using the following formula: Within 24 hours of ordering - 100%; Before CV first draft - 90%; Before CV second draft - 60%; Before CV third draft - 30%; After CV third draft has been delivered - 0%. No refunds are available for coaching services. Refund requests need to be made in writing to your Writer within three months from order date. Once approved, refunds usually appear on bank statements within 5-10 working days of the request being received and will be paid into the same account used for initial payment.

In the event that you purchase a service order but do not engage with ITCV enough to complete the service over a six month period, that service order will be closed and no refund or compensation is payable under any circumstances. This is considered non-engagement. We hope you agree that a six month buffer is a generous allowance.

ITCV cannot and does not guarantee job placement or success in a job interview or application. Job search success is not solely reliant on having an outstanding CV or being an expert in job interviews. It is influenced by many factors including a client’s skill set, experience, adaptability to change, motivation and their alignment with an employer’s vision and values. External factors may also impact success like the job market and a nation, region or industry’s economy.

You acknowledge that any products, services, opinions or suggestions provided by ITCV in connection with your employment situation are intended as a guide only and not given as a guarantee of success, or otherwise, for any job search or employment decision.

ITCV cannot guarantee the compatibility of computer files with client systems or that documents will retain their original formatting features. Due to the varying nature of software and hardware, ITCV cannot guarantee that documents will appear perfectly on every computer screen. While ITCV takes every step to ensure client satisfaction, some issues are beyond ITCV's control and require the client to research and find solutions independently.

ITCV reserves all rights in the content and design of its websites (including itcvservices.com.au) and any tools, documentation and products accompanying or produced by ITCV. Unless permitted in writing by ITCV, you may not reproduce, use or copy any content on its websites including names, logos and any other material created by or licensed to ITCV. Without limitation, you may not modify, adapt or create derivative works based on or contained in our websites. You may not use commercially any information, products or services on this website unless it’s for the purposes intended in a specific assignment or Assignment. You also may not cause any of the material on this website to be framed or embedded into another website without written permission from ITCV.

ITCV retains intellectual property ownership of all services provided, tools created and products produced including CV’s and cover letters. Clients may use products that have been provided by ITCV in relation to their personal Assignments, at their discretion with the exception of plagiarism. Clients may edit their own documents and distribute via any form. Clients further understand that unless otherwise specified, ITCV reserves the right to use a client's career documents as samples, both in print and/or online, with all identifying client information (client name, company names, titles, dates and any personally identifiable facts and achievements) amended to protect client anonymity. Clients reserve the right to refuse the use of anonymous samples by informing ITCV by email to info@itcvservices.com.au.

ITCV does not warrant the accuracy or completeness of the materials or the reliability of any advice, opinion, statement or other information displayed or distributed through the website or any services, documents or products produced by ITCV. You acknowledge that any reliance on any such opinion, advice, statement, report, or information shall be at your own risk. ITCV disclaims liability for errors and omissions in the contents of this website or any products or services produced by ITCV. ITCV reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to correct any errors or omissions in any portion of the site. ITCV Writers may make any other changes to the site, the material and the products, programs, promotions, services and fees described in the site at any time without notice.

You acknowledge that any product, document or information provided by ITCV is based solely on information provided by you and that we cannot warrant the accuracy or truthfulness of your response. ITCV does not research or investigate any information given by the Client and assumes the Client has been truthful in all areas.

In no event shall we be liable for any direct, indirect, punitive, incidental, special, consequential damages or any damages whatsoever including, without limitation, damages for loss of use, data, profit earnings, or lost opportunities, arising out of or in any way connected with the use or performance of our services whether based on contract, tort, negligence, strict liability or otherwise even if ITCV has been advised of the possibility of damages.

Under no circumstances shall ITCV be held liable for any delay or failure in performance resulting directly or indirectly from acts of nature, forces, or causes beyond its reasonable control, including without limitation, incorrect email addresses, internet failures, software viruses, computer equipment failures, other equipment failures, defamatory material on any database or in respect of any dealings with any work (including software) in which you hold any copyright or other intellectual property right or non-performance of third parties.

Client will indemnify and hold ITCV, its directors, contractors and employees free and harmless from any obligations, costs, claims, judgements, or legal fees arising from, growing out of, or in any way connected with the services rendered to the client under the terms of this agreement, including in the event of services being cancelled or delayed.

Where liability cannot be excluded, any liability incurred by ITCV in relation to the use of this website or the products or the services provided by ITCV is limited as provided under s 68A of the Trade Practices Act 1974 (Cth).

ITCV makes no representations, guarantees or warranties, express or implied, with respect to our services, its medium, any written material accompanying it, or produced by it, its use, suitability, reliability, accuracy, performance or results, its merchantability, or fitness for a particular purpose, title and non-infringement.

In life and business, almost everything changes. As such, ITCV reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to change, modify, add or remove any portion of these Terms and Conditions including but not limited to the Terms of Use and Privacy & Security Policy, in whole or in part, at any time. Changes to these Terms and Conditions become effective once the content of the Terms and Conditions are changed on the websites, or Clients are sent an email advising them of any changes, whenever one of these events occurs first. Your continued use of the site after any changes to ITCV’s Terms and Conditions will be considered as acceptance of those changes.

From time to time, ITCV may offer Promotions including rewards for referring new Clients (known as Referral Rewards). ITCV reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to change, modify, add, cancel or remove any portion of these Promotions in whole or in part, at any time, regardless of any advertised expiration date, and without any written or other forms of notice. When ITCV offers a reward for referring a new Client, the new Client must not have contacted ITCV within 30 days preceding the written referral by the Referrer, the Client must not have been previously referred by anybody else, and the Client must agree that he/she was referred by the Referrer. In the case of any dispute, ITCV reserves the final right to decide if the Referrer or Promotion Participant is due any prize or reward (or a portion of it), and no further dispute by any party may be entered into this decision.

This Agreement is governed by and in accordance with the laws of Victoria, Australia and the parties agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Victoria, Australia. Any legal matters arising will commence and conclude within the jurisdiction of the State of Victoria’s Courts.

ITCV Writers (ITCV) respects everyone’s right to personal privacy and our Privacy & Security Policy explains how we protect and deal with any personal information we collect through the website, market research and Assignments. When we use the term ‘personal information’, we mean information which identifies you as an individual or from which your identity can be reasonably ascertained. Your name, email address and mobile number are examples of personal information.

In addition to the provisions of this Privacy & Security Policy, there may be additional terms or provisions that apply to certain sections of the website or Assignments. Because those provisions may also relate to your privacy protection, we recommend that you review them wherever they appear. In the event of any inconsistencies between the provisions of this Privacy & Security Policy and those other specific and additional provisions, the additional provisions will prevail.

ITCV collects personal information through our website to help us improve our services and make our website more efficient and effective. When we collect this data, we will make no attempt to identify individual users, correlate data collected as users or identify users browsing activities. ITCV will also collect personal information during an Assignment for reasons including but not limited to providing the products and services requested by you and improving our service offerings. At the end of an assignment, ITCV may also request Clients to provide a written testimonial on the website for the purposes of service improvements and promotion. You agree not to provide any information or materials to ITCV Writers that is defamatory, threatening, obscene, harassing, or otherwise unlawful, or that incorporates the proprietary material of another.

In addition to providing our services to you, we may use or disclose personal information that we collect about you:

1. for the purposes for which it was collected;

2. where you have consented to the use or disclosure;

3. to maintain our relationship with you;

4. for purposes related to our research, planning, service development, business development, security and risk management;

5. where a third party acquires or wishes to acquire, or makes enquiries in relation to acquiring, an interest in ITCV Writers; or

6. to the extent that we are required or authorised by law to do so.

There may be occasions where ITCV will need to disclose your personal information to third parties to provide the service you have requested. For example, if you request that we provide you with a new CV, your personal information may be sent to one of our Consultants, who will carry out this work. We will take all reasonable steps to ensure our Consultants or other third parties keep your personal information private and confidential at all times.

By recording a testimonial on ITCV’s website, you consent for it to include, in addition to your written feedback, your name, job title, profile picture and the date the testimonial was written. If you provide a testimonial through any means outside of the website including but not limited to emails and social media channels, you permit ITCV to publish the testimonial, in whole or in part, onto the website. If you do not want all or any of the information contained in your testimonial published on the website, or want it removed in the future, please advise ITCV in writing to info@itcvservices.com.au and ITCV will take all reasonable steps to comply with your request. ITCV reserves the right to use testimonials for marketing and promotions outside of the website and testimonials are the sole property of ITCV to the extent permitted by law. ITCV reserves the right to decide whether any testimonial is published on the website and any testimonial that does not refer to a service being offered by ITCV or promotes a different business will not be published.

We take information security very seriously. Once any personal information comes into our possession, we will take reasonable steps to protect that information from misuse, loss and from unauthorised access, modification or disclosure. Unfortunately, no data transmission over the internet can be guaranteed as completely secure. So while we strive to protect such information, we cannot ensure nor warrant the security of any information you transmit to us or that we store on our systems and you do so at your own risk.

This website is protected using an SSL certificate from Trustwave. SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) is a commonly-used protocol for managing the security of message transmissions on the internet. Our SSL Certificate is used to encrypt the connection between this website and the web browser of viewers of the website. This is essential when a website asks for sensitive information from viewers, such as a password or credit card number, and it gives viewers the security of knowing the transaction with our website is secure.

ITCV’s payment options are to use a credit card, PayPal account or transfer funds directly into our Australian ANZ bank account. Credit cards are processed through PayPal. PayPal will process the payment using a secure payment gateway which is external to ITCV’s website or systems. PayPal will only provide ITCV with payment authorisation and never share your financial information. You can access more information on the PayPal User Agreement. All ITCV’s prices are posted and processed in Australian dollars and include GST where applicable.

The LinkedIn User Agreement does not permit users to provide login details to third parties. Therefore, as ITCV is not permitted by law to access a Client’s LinkedIn page or change any settings, ITCV will provide Clients an MS Word document which contains recommendations for settings and content to cut and paste into the profile by the Client. ITCV cannot accept any responsibility for any loss, disruption or damage, financial or otherwise, caused by adopting or implementing changes to the Client’s LinkedIn account in accordance with the recommendations from ITCV.

Please note that ITCV does not (and is not allowed to) create LinkedIn profiles from scratch for third parties. Clients need to have created a personal LinkedIn profile that includes their personal information, work history, and contact details.

Please provide as much detail as you can about the particular information you seek in order to assist us retrieve it. An access fee may be charged to cover our costs of providing the information to you as permitted by law.

While ITCV makes every effort to check and test material at all stages of production for viruses, it is always wise for users to run an anti-virus program themselves on all material. ITCV cannot accept any responsibility for any loss, disruption or damage to your data or your computer system which may occur whilst using material from this site or the services provided by ITCV, including your LinkedIn profile. You will assume all responsibility in providing a correct and secure email address for receipt of all information sent via email to you.
